Winneba Correctional Facility Outreach

On 13 July 2026, Still Little Is Much carried out its first official outreach project at the Winneba Correctional Facility in Ghana.

This outreach was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves dignity, compassion, and hope. Regardless of someone’s past or present circumstances, we believe no one should be forgotten.

Our goal was not only to provide practical support but also to remind the people at the facility that they are seen, valued, and worthy of kindness.

What We Did

During our visit, we spent meaningful time with both the inmates and prison officers. Together, we shared a meal, engaged in conversation, and offered encouragement.

As part of the outreach, we provided:

  • Nutritious meals
  • Soft drinks
  • Bottled water
  • Words of encouragement and hope
  • Fellowship with inmates and prison officers

While the food met an immediate need, the conversations and personal interactions reminded us that human connection can have an even greater impact.

Why This Project Matters

Correctional facilities are often overlooked, and the people within them can easily feel forgotten by society.

At Still Little Is Much, we believe that compassion should reach everyone.

This outreach was an opportunity to demonstrate that kindness has no boundaries and that hope can be shared in every place, including correctional facilities.

We also wanted to recognise the dedication of the prison officers who faithfully serve within the facility each day and include them in our outreach.

The Impact

Although the outreach lasted only one day, its impact reached far beyond that moment.

By sharing a meal, listening without judgment, and offering words of encouragement, we helped create an environment where people felt respected and valued.

This experience reminded us that meaningful change often begins with simple acts of kindness.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is our presence.

Made Possible by Our Supporters

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of our volunteers, donors, and partners.

People contributed in many different ways:

  • Financial donations
  • Transportation
  • Planning and coordination
  • Food preparation
  • Volunteer service
  • Encouragement and prayer

Every contribution, regardless of its size, played an important role in making this outreach successful.

Our Reflection

As the very first official project of Still Little Is Much, the Winneba Correctional Facility Outreach holds a special place in our journey.

It marked the moment our vision became action.

It reminded us that changing lives doesn’t always require extraordinary resources.

Sometimes it begins with a visit.

Sometimes it begins with a conversation.

Sometimes it begins with sharing a meal.

And sometimes, simply showing someone they have not been forgotten can change everything.

That is the heart of Still Little Is Much.
